As one of the top 10K Road Races in the UK, the City Centre race always attracts a number of the world’s top athletes. It is a fast flat course over tarmac and grass surfaces, which passes picturesque city centre landmarks such as Cardiff Castle, Cathays Park and Bute Park.

This is not just a race for elite runners. It is open to all members of the public (15 years +) no matter what their ability. Indeed, what makes the 10K such a special event for Kidney Wales is the great variety of competitors who take part each year, from some of the foremost athletes in the world, to supporters of Kidney Wales who are happy to power-walk their way around our highly acclaimed course and raise vital funds for kidney research and patient care in Wales.
